Job Summary

The Creative Services Specialist is responsible for producing content in all forms of digital media (social, video, web), print materials that will be used to promote the library, as well as any artistic programs and projects that will enhance the appearance of the department.

Key Functions/Knowledge/Skills

• Knowledge of more complex work routines, rules, procedures, or operations; ability to operate higher-level specialized equipment.

• Proficient in various social media platforms, especially Facebook and Instagram.
• Ability to develop and implement creative approaches to reach targeted audiences.

Minimum Education & Experience

High school graduation or GED plus one year of experience.

Special Certifications & Licenses

Valid Texas Driver’s License.

Independence & Judgement

Minimal judgment; instructions, once established and defined, normally allow the job to be accomplished without direct and/or constant supervision; mostly routine work requiring that employee recognize obvious problems; situations outside the instructions are referred to the supervisor or lead worker.
